Quand Céc et moi partons sur un coup de Tête......
Nous avons donc pris le bus, 4h30 de routes plus pouries les unes que les autres. Nous sommes en Irlande, ne l'oublions pas!!!
Donc nous sommes parti pour  le sud,Killarney, ville située sur la côte Ouest, au passé historique riche, et cernée par des Parcs Nationnaux!!!



First day, we went walking in the closest national Park....
Raining as usual, lovely beginning for a week end....

Vue de Lough Leane (lac inférieur, le plus petit des trois). Dos à Ross Castle








Ross Castle, built in the 15th Century by the chief of the clan O'Donoghue, it is a typical tower house; there used to be hundreds of them throughout Ireland, England Scotland and Wales... It is a type of castle which comes from the Normans!!!!





Toujours le même lac, mais deux heures plus tard (le temps de la visite), comme quoi, même en Irlande il fait beau....

















Now, 1+1= a snap of the castle and the Lake, huhu, nice one though!!












( Bientôt je m'achête un fitre promis, comme ça y aura plus de problême!!!! )
Le lendemain, aprés moultes térgiversations, nous avons donc loué des vélos, afin de pouvoir profiter au maximum de notre journée..... Et bien on en a fait du vélo, puis dans un coin pareil..... C'est du sport!!!!
















Still touring the lake, we were heading to Muckross House, which means in Gaëlic, The Pig's Bay's House...
No, I promise, there is nothing related between Killarney and Vietnam.... or mayber Kill - Arney.... oh low one,
 Nans!




















The House in itself is from the 19th Century.... Actually, the last owner of the House gave his lands to Ireland , which later came to be the National Parks of Killarney: the Castle + the House + some mines.

He was American...           Mais c'est pas lui qui a donné le nom à la baie....

Et en avant pour l'une des plus grandes chutes d'Irlande.....

Mais tout ce qui est petit est mignon....



Elles sont pas trés grande, mais ça valait le détour...

Off we go, end of the week-end!!!

Oyster  would have been our symbol for the year, but he wasn't actually an Irish "teddy sheep", but a fuckin' Doorstop, with a weight of around 3 kg... And Neither Cec nor I wanted to fly back to France with him.... So sorry buddy, later!






Alors J'ai décidé de prendre les pubs en photos, en voilà un bon exemple, Gaëlique et coloré... Petite histoire, un soir, il y avait plein de gens qui criaient devant, un pirate me dit " des sous contre tes poils!", il y avait une oeuvre caritative qui épilait ces braves irlandais, en échange de quelques deniers...
Pour ceux qui me connaissent bien, NON je n'y suis pas allé!!!











The King's Head is one of the most popular pubs in Galway, always full on week-ends, Huge place, and it has a nice name, historically speaking I mean!!!


























Hair dressers are as rare in Ireland as barbers in France.....
That's a typical Barber shop in Galway, "anyone for a hot towel shave?"

A hair cut is around 8€ in those shops, a dry cut, of course!!!

Guess what, I won't try them...
